It's hard to find a good tailor at any price. Here's a good one whose rates are very reasonable. I take him all my mending and alterations; even my fanciest threads.

I have not had him create any suits from scratch yet, but he seems a well-trained professional who could handle that as well.
And he is supremely courteous.

To reduce overhear and keep his charges low, he operates out of his garage which faces S. 19th ( or Columbia ). That's the North side of the street just West of Del Monte and East of Woodlawn ( or Contra Costa ). A tricky turn off, but worth the effort.
